How to make your request

Tell us what it concerns

Specify support messages, a Premium purchase, a website signup or another type of information.

Help us find your information

For messages or signups, include the email address you used. For Premium, a Google Play order number beginning with GPA may help, if you have it.

We reply to you

We review your request and respond within one month. If we reasonably doubt your identity, we ask only for the information needed to verify it.

Keep your child’s information private. Do not send child names, PINs, passwords, recovery or access codes, purchase tokens, backups or payment details. Do not attach a full receipt: we will explain the minimum information needed if necessary.

Which data can be deleted?

Growise does not create an online family account. Some information stays only on your device; other information is processed for support, purchases or operation of the service.

Family profiles, GrowPoints and progress on your phone

Family profiles, tasks, goals, GP balances and learning progress are stored on your device. We have no server copy and cannot erase them remotely.

To erase all local data, open Android Settings → Apps → Growise → Storage → Clear data / Clear storage. Labels vary by phone. This permanently removes local data, including the PIN and saved access credentials; it does not issue a refund.

Separately remove exported backups and card PDFs from the folders, cloud services and trash folders you selected. Dispose of printed copies if needed.

Optional app usage statistics

A parent can turn off statistics in Bank → Privacy & feedback. This stops future sends and clears the local random identifier. Turning them on again creates a new identifier.

The server stores daily counts by event, language and app version only. It does not store the identifier in that database, so an individual family’s contributions cannot be found or deleted separately. Counts older than 90 days are removed by a daily cleanup.

Purchase verification and Google Play Billing technical diagnostics are separate from these optional statistics.

Premium purchase verification

Our service stores a hash of the purchase token, the plan, its expiry, status and last verification date. It does not store payment-card details or the raw token.

You can request deletion of these records. We first verify your entitlement to the purchase, then delete identifiable information that no longer needs to be retained. If a limited record is still necessary to provide active access, prevent fraud or meet an applicable obligation, we explain what is retained, why and for how long.

Automatic cleanup runs when both expiry and last verification are more than 90 days old. If no expiry is available, it uses the last verification date. You do not have to wait for that cleanup to make a request.

Continuing to use or restore Premium can create a new verification record, including on app startup or return to the app. We explain the effects and options before taking action. Deletion is not cancellation or a refund request and does not erase payment history held by Google.

Emails, support messages and website signups

You can request deletion of support correspondence, a website testing request or your email preferences. Preferably write from the address you used, or include that address in your request.

We remove information we can identify in our tools and ask providers processing it on our behalf to handle deletion where applicable. If limited retention is necessary for an obligation or dispute, we explain the reason and period.

Service providers and recovery copies

Our hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf. Your request covers information we control with these providers; it does not delete your Google Account.

After deletion from the active database, automatic recovery copies of our Cloudflare databases may retain deleted information for up to 30 days, depending on the plan. These are not used for normal operation; deletions must be reapplied if a recovery is needed.

Google Play separately handles payments and diagnostics from its billing library, which may be transmitted even with optional Growise statistics turned off. We can point you to Google’s request procedures, but cannot promise to erase information Google retains for its own purposes. See Google’s privacy policy.

When we respond

We handle requests without undue delay and respond within one month of receiving them.

If complexity or the number of requests requires an extension, we explain the reasons within that first month. The extension will not exceed two additional months.

A clear explanation

Our response identifies what was deleted and, where relevant, what is retained, the reason and the retention period. We also explain if information cannot be identified using the details available.

You may contact us again or complain to the CNIL if you are dissatisfied with our response.
